Plan Changes are a useful and efficient planning tool to make sure the zoning of land and the corresponding planning rules remain fit-for-purpose to respond to market demand for land-use. MPAD has led the preparation of several Private Plan Changes to rezone land within and adjacent to urban growth areas. These Plan Changes have included amendments or introductions of residential and industrial zones. In addition to preparing private Plan Changes, MPAD has also worked closely with clients to submit on Council-initiated Plan Changes to ensure our clients’ interests are considered and provided for.
